There has been an allotment on the land between school and church for a long period of time.
Traditionally it has been managed by a regular group of allotment users
However a number of years ago it fell into disuse
School sought funding from a number of sources (particularly the Hamilton Davies Trust)-to reinstate this -part of which was to be used by school and other plots rented off to the community.
It was renamed St Teresa's Community Allotment
It has become a major part of our Eco Awards and Health School status-and has even featured on Channel M television.
The Gardening Club planted poppies to celebrate the anniversary or World War 1 and to remember all the brave soldiers who have lost their lives in war.
The Gardening Club made a scarecrow for the allotment.
